Look forward to an idyllic village with the backdrop of the Steinernes Meer mountain range, the Hochkönig, whispering woodland, lush alpine pastures and warm-hearted people.
Adventure trails, hiking, mountaineering, archery, deer enclosure, high ropes course, leisure pool, jogging, climbing, crazy golf, biking, summer tobogganing, golf, tennis...
Whether you're after hiking, playing, picnicking with the children by streams, climbing the Hochkönig, paragliding, paddling at the outdoor leisure pool, eating in traditional alpine huts, or walking through the labyrinth, we will be pleased to give you advice about what's on offer when it comes to sport, culture, events, and relaxing.
You'll find a list of the nicest excursions in Salzburgerland at www.top7.at. All of the "Top 7" are within about an hour's drive from Maria Alm.
If the sun doesn't shine one day, then there are caves, and gorges in the region waiting to be explored. Or maybe a relaxing visit to the new TauernSpa-World in Kaprun/Zell am See, where they place an emphasis on being family friendly.
In the winter your fun begins practically on the doorstep. It's hardly 5 minutes' walk to the Dorfj@t Natrun and the ski bus to Aberg stops right at the village square.
Haus Stablerkrämer your "lodgings" for a relaxed holiday in Maria Alm.
